Hide Internet Explorer 7 Search Bar

If you have installed Google or any other search Tool Bar, and you find little use for the IE 7 in-built Search Bar, you can remove the Search Bar in Internet Explorer 7 with a small registry tweak.
Close IE 7. Open Regedit and navigate to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Infodelivery\Restrictions
If you do not find the key, you will have to create it.
To create it, Rt click on Microsoft and create the new key: InternetExplorer; next rt click on Internet Explorer and create the new key: Infodelivery; finally, rt click on Infodelivery and create the new key: Restrictions. Then Rt click on Restrictions > Modify > new DWORD > value 1.
Close regedit. Re-start IE 7.
Do note that in such a case, the address bar will expand to fill up that space; and as such if you plan to shift your Google or other toolbar there, with the intention of utilizing valuable real estate, you may not be able to do so; and it may then well turn out to be an exercise in futility !
To make the Search Bar in Internet Explorer 7 show again, simply change the DWORD value to 0.
