I am happy to mention that, WinVistaClub, which completed 1 year a few days back, is now featured on the Microsoft WindowsHelp website here. Currently it has been featured here on the WindowsHelp HomePage.

WinVistaClub Featured On WindowsHelp

I am more than happy with the way the site has progressed. Apart from getting a Google PR 6 in one year, prime Microsoft / Windows forums / websites like Neowin, MSFN, Bink, etc have also been kind enough to exchange Affiliate Links with me. I am also thankful to the several MVP blogs and friends who have exchanged links with WinVistaClub.

The hits, have exceeded my expectations and I am happy with the steady growth that it has shown. Country wise, the visitors come primarily from USA, whose total exceeds that of all other countries put together.
Last years (now archived) ClustrMaps image gives the reach of the site. The visitors figures are way off the mark, however.
The origin of the Hits were from, as below:
41.3 % Direct Address / Bookmarks
18.6% Links from external pages
39.6 percent from search engines, with bulk from Google.

In the last year, Neowin, Microsoft, Vista.zol. Tech.sina, MSFN, WindowsVistaMagazine, Vistaheads, CastleCops NewsPage, WindowsVistaSP1, SkyCN were some of the links which directed a fairly high amount of traffic.

The following How-To's and Articles were some, which were amongst the most popular, and got the maximum hits.
How To Make Vista Start, Run and Shutdown Faster
The Mystery Of The 'Temporary Internet Files' Folder in Windows Vista
The Secret Of Vista's Winsxs Folder
Vista "Aero One" Theme for Windows Vista
GUIDE : Troubleshooting Windows Vista 'Stop Errors' or 'The Blue Screen Of Death'

The following links, really spiked high, the hits figures, for a short time. Amongst others, these links were; The Inquirer, Endgadget, Gizmodo, MaryJoFoleys Blog, AppleInsider, Softpedia News, etc..

What makes me most happy, however, is that in the last several months, almost upto 80% have chosen to add this site to their Favorites.

I hope you enjoy reading the contents as much as I enjoy presenting them to you. Feedback, if any, is most welcome ... always. You can write to me at happyandyk at hotmail dot com.

Thank You; And keep visiting ! And yes, if you'd like to stay in touch with the latest on Windows Vista, maybe you'd like to subscribe to the WinVistaClub RSS Feeds.
