WinVistaClub was launched on 27th May 2007 and focused exclusively on Windows Vista. It soon became popular. It was even listed as a Microsoft Featured Community by Microsoft. Two years later, TheWindowsClub.com was launched on 20th April 2009 to cover Windows 7, Windows 8 and later versions.

All posts from WinVistaClub have been updated and ported or moved to TheWindowsClub.com. Although most have been dated 2009 on the new site, you may find some of them placed randomly between 2010 and 2012 too. The news posts appear under a separate sub-domain news.thewindowsclub.com.The Forum too has been moved to forum.thewindowsclub.com.

At the  South Asia MVP Meet 2008 held at Goa, between 14-18th November 2008, Ultimate Windows Tweaker, a Tweak UI for Windows Vista was released by Howard Lo, Microsoft’s Regional Team Manager (APAC), in the presence of Abhishek Kant, South Asia – MVP Lead and Abhishek Baxi, MVP Program Specialist. Since then, The Windows Club has released over 75 freeware and other releases. Check them all here at the TWC Freeware page. They include Ultimate Windows Tweaker v3Ultimate Windows Tweaker v2, FixWinUltimate Windows CustomizerWindows 7 DreamScene ActivatorWindows 7 Start Button Changer, Quick Restore Maker  and many more!

WinVistaClub, in association with Windows Vista – The Official Magazine, also organized a contest to recognize some of the Best Windows Vista Blogs 2008.
